5 common questions about FNAF Co-op
Quick Feedback
Did these codes work for you?
FNAF Co-op is hands down the best Five Nights at Freddy's experience on Roblox. I've been playing since the beta, and the recent FNAF 6 update has made it even better. The game faithfully recreates FNAF 1 through Sister Location, and playing through those terrifying nights with a friend completely changes the experience.
What makes this game special is the attention to detail. The animatronics behave exactly like they do in the original games, the atmosphere is genuinely creepy, and the co-op mechanics add a layer of strategy that the original games never had. I've jumped out of my chair more times than I'd like to admit.
Why These Codes Matter
Cash is everything in FNAF Co-op. You need it to unlock roles, upgrade perks, and buy items from the pre-night shop. Without codes, you're grinding through nights just to afford basic upgrades.
Here's what things cost:
- Night Guard (default): Free
- Janitor: $60 to unlock, $540 total to max
- Engineer: $250 to unlock, $2,250 total to max
- Policeman: $300 to unlock, $2,700 total to max
That's over $5,000 in cash just to max out all roles. The codes give you a head start so you can actually enjoy the game instead of grinding forever.
Every Working Code Right Now
Last verified: December 24, 2025. I tested every code this morning.
FNAF6 - Cash boost for the FNAF 6 (Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator) update. This is the newest code celebrating the latest content drop. Use it immediately.
Note: FNAF Co-op codes are released sparingly. The developers focus on content updates rather than frequent code drops. Check back regularly as new codes typically come with major updates.
Codes That No Longer Work
These codes have expired:
- HALLOWEEN2024 - Halloween 2024 event code
- HALLOWEEN2025 - Halloween 2025 event code
I update this list within 24 hours when codes stop working.
How to Redeem Codes
The code redemption is straightforward once you know where to look:
Step 1: Launch FNAF Co-op on Roblox and wait for the game to fully load.
Step 2: Click the "Menu" button in the bottom right corner of the main screen.
Step 3: Select the "Codes" option from the menu.
Step 4: Enter your code exactly as shown in the text box.
Step 5: Click the "Redeem" button to claim your rewards.
Pro tip: Codes are case-sensitive. Copy them directly from this page to avoid typos.
Understanding the Role System
Roles are what make FNAF Co-op unique. Each role changes how you play and what you can do during nights.
Night Guard (Free - Default)
The basic role everyone starts with. No special items or abilities, but no cost either. Good for learning the game mechanics before investing in upgrades.
Best for: Complete beginners learning camera systems and animatronic patterns.
Janitor ($60 to unlock)
The Janitor doesn't spawn with items, but has janitorial tasks throughout the map. Cleaning water spills and messy tables earns extra cash for you AND your team.
Best for: Players who want to grind cash efficiently. FNAF 3 Night 1 with Janitor is the fastest money-making method I've found.
Upgrade costs: $60 → $72 → $84 → $96 → $108 → $120 (Total: $540)
Engineer ($250 to unlock)
My personal favorite. Engineers spawn with a trap (or two with the gamepass) that stuns animatronics. You can pre-place traps at choke points to disable threats before they reach the office.
Best for: Strategic players who like setting up defenses. The trap stun time increases with each level upgrade.
Upgrade costs: $250 → $300 → $350 → $400 → $450 → $500 (Total: $2,250)
Stun times by level:
- Level 1: 12-13 seconds
- Level 6: 17-18 seconds
Policeman ($300 to unlock)
Policemen spawn with a taser for close-range encounters. Riskier than Engineer traps since you need to be close to animatronics, but useful for emergency situations.
Best for: Aggressive players who don't mind taking risks. The taser range and stun time improve with upgrades.
Upgrade costs: $300 → $360 → $420 → $480 → $540 → $600 (Total: $2,700)
Game Modes Available
FNAF Co-op recreates the entire Clickteam-era FNAF series:
FNAF 1
The classic. Manage limited power while monitoring cameras and closing doors. Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Golden Freddy all behave like the original. Seven nights of terror.
FNAF 2
No doors, just a Freddy mask and flashlight. Deal with Toy animatronics, Withered animatronics, Balloon Boy, Mangle, and The Puppet. The music box mechanic is faithfully recreated.
FNAF 3
Springtrap is your main threat, but phantom animatronics cause jumpscares and system failures. Manage ventilation, audio, and cameras while avoiding the killer bunny.
FNAF 4
The nightmare fuel. Listen for breathing at doors, check the closet for Nightmare Foxy, and deal with Nightmare Freddy's mini-Freddies on the bed. Eight nights including the bonus night.
Sister Location
The most story-driven FNAF game. Deal with Funtime Freddy, Funtime Foxy, Ballora, and eventually Ennard across six unique nights with different mechanics.
Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator (NEW!)
The latest update adds FFPS content. Run your pizzeria while dealing with Lefty, Scraptrap, Scrap Baby, and Molten Freddy. Six nights from Monday to Saturday.
Original Modes
- Basement Hunt - Original mode exclusive to FNAF Co-op
- Puppet's Revenge - Another original creation
Survival Strategies I Learned the Hard Way
After hundreds of hours across all FNAF games, here's what actually works:
FNAF 1 Tips
Power management is everything. Don't spam the lights or doors. Check cameras quickly, close doors only when necessary, and learn the animatronic patterns.
Foxy requires attention. Check Pirate Cove regularly. If you ignore him too long, he sprints down the hallway and drains massive power when you close the door.
Freddy moves when you're not watching. He only moves when you're not on his camera. Keep tabs on him in the later nights.
FNAF 2 Tips
The mask is your best friend. When animatronics enter your office, put on the Freddy mask immediately. It fools most of them.
Wind the music box constantly. The Puppet will kill you if the music box runs out. Make it a habit to wind it every few seconds.
Flashlight the vents. Balloon Boy and others come through the vents. Flash them to reset their progress.
FNAF 3 Tips
Audio lures work. Use the audio system to lure Springtrap away from your office. He's attracted to sound.
Reboot systems quickly. Phantom jumpscares disable systems. Reboot them immediately or you'll be vulnerable.
Seal vents strategically. You can seal vents to redirect Springtrap, but it uses up your limited seals.
Co-op Specific Tips
Communicate constantly. Call out animatronic positions to your partner. "Bonnie in the hallway" saves lives.
Split responsibilities. One person on cameras, one on doors. Or one monitoring left side, one on right.
Use roles strategically. Engineer traps at choke points, Janitor grinding cash, Policeman as backup defense.
The Real Time Experience
FNAF Co-op has a special "Real Time" mode where nights last actual hours instead of minutes. I completed a 6-hour FNAF 1 run recently, and it was both exhausting and incredibly satisfying. Special rewards await those brave enough to attempt it.
