I've been playing Blade Battle for about a week now, and it's exactly what it sounds like - pure survival combat with blades. You spawn in a forest, chop trees to level up, and fight other players with whatever blade you can get your hands on. I expected a simple hack-and-slash game and got something that's eaten way more of my time than I'd like to admit.

The first 30 minutes were rough. I kept getting destroyed by players with better blades before I figured out the progression system. Turns out, your blade determines everything in this game. Better blade = more damage = faster kills = longer survival. And codes? They skip the early grind entirely.

UPD2 - The big one. 5,000 gems dropped with Update 2. This is enough to open several boxes and get a solid blade. I used mine immediately and pulled a blade that carried me through my first hour. If you only redeem one code, make it this one.

HAPPY - Free spin. Spins have a chance to give potions, gems, EXP, or rare weapons. I got a small gem bonus on mine, but I've seen other players pull the Hell Sickle from this. Worth the 10 seconds to redeem.

CODE - Another free spin. Same rewards pool as HAPPY. Two spins means two chances at something good. I got EXP from this one, which helped me level faster.

UPD1 - 3 minutes of EXP buff. Here's my mistake: I activated this and then immediately got into a fight. Wasted the whole buff. Activate this when you're ready to grind trees, not when you're about to PvP.

The game is actively being updated. UPD2 just dropped, so expect UPD3 codes soon. I'll add them here the moment they go live.

Step 1: Launch Blade Battle on Roblox and load into a server

Step 2: Look for the ABX button on the left side of your screen

Step 3: Click it to open the code redemption menu

Step 4: Type your code exactly as shown (case-sensitive!)

Step 5: Hit the green Verify button

Step 6: Rewards appear instantly in your inventory

Pro tip: If a code doesn't work, try leaving and rejoining the game. Sometimes you need to be on an updated server for new codes to register. I had UPD2 fail twice before switching servers.

What I Learned After Getting Destroyed

After dying repeatedly for my first hour, here's what actually works:

Upgrade Blade HP first. I focused on damage initially and kept dying because my blade broke mid-fight. Higher Blade HP means your weapon lasts longer, which means more consistent damage output. Damage upgrades matter less if your blade shatters after two swings.

Farm trees away from spawn. The spawn area is a death trap. Everyone spawns there, including aggressive players looking for easy kills. I started running to the edges of the map before farming and my survival time tripled.

Save gems for boxes, not cosmetics. I wasted 500 gems on a skin before realizing boxes give actual gameplay advantages. Cosmetics are nice, but a better blade wins fights. Prioritize function over fashion until you're established.

Learn when to run. Not every fight is winnable. If someone has a clearly better blade, disengage. I used to fight everyone and died constantly. Now I pick my battles and my K/D ratio improved significantly.

Blade Recommendations

Based on my testing:

For beginners: Use code gems to open boxes until you get anything better than the starter blade. Even a small upgrade makes a huge difference. Don't be picky early on.

For aggressive players: Prioritize damage stats. You want to kill enemies before they can react. High damage blades are risky (often lower HP) but reward skilled play.

For survival-focused players: Blade HP is your friend. A durable blade lets you farm longer and survive extended fights. You might not get quick kills, but you'll outlast opponents.

The Hell Sickle: If you pull this from a spin, you've won the lottery. It's one of the best weapons in the game. I haven't gotten one yet, but I've seen players dominate servers with it.
