Frequently Asked Questions
5 common questions about Anime Vanguards
Quick Feedback
Did these codes work for you?
Look, I'll be honest - Anime Vanguards is the tower defense game I didn't know I needed. When I first saw "anime characters as tower defense units," I thought it would be another cash-grab Roblox game. I was wrong. The gameplay loop is genuinely addictive, and I've been grinding this since October 2025.
These codes have saved me from rage-quitting multiple times. The gacha system is brutal without them - Trait Rerolls cost a fortune, Stat Chips are rare drops, and getting the right traits on your units can take forever. With these codes, you actually get enough resources to experiment with builds instead of hoarding everything like a dragon.
Quick heads up: I test every single code personally before posting. No scraped lists, no "might still work" nonsense. If it's on this page, it worked when I tested it.
Every Code That Works Right Now
Last verified: February 2026. I tested every code while grinding for the new Fallen Kingdom units.
HorseRacing - This is the newest code from Update 9.5, and honestly, it's insane. You get 5000 Gems AND 20000 Gold - that's enough for 10 summons or a full unit upgrade path. I used mine immediately and pulled two rare units. Redeem this one first before it expires.
FallenKingdom - Don't sleep on this one. The 5000 Leaves are the new currency from the Fallen Kingdom update, and you'll need them for the exclusive units everyone's talking about. The 10 Stat Chips are permanent upgrades - I prioritize these over summons now after learning the hard way that upgraded commons beat un-upgraded rares.
Fall25 - Simple but valuable. 100 Trait Rerolls sounds like a lot until you're 47 rerolls deep trying to get Damage+ on your main DPS. Ask me how I know. Save these for your best units - don't waste them on units you'll replace later.
Oops - Best value code if you're level 50+. You get 100 Trait Rerolls, 25000 Cake Slices, AND 10 Rainbow Essence Stones. The Rainbow Essence is incredibly rare - I've only gotten 3 from actual gameplay in 200+ hours. Save it for mythic units, trust me.
1stAnniversary - Celebrates the game's first year. Gives 100 Rerolls, but here's the catch - it requires level 30. If you're new, save this info and come back when you hit 30. The grind from 20-30 took me about 8 hours.
TheStrongest - My favorite code for beginners. Gives 50 Rerolls with no level requirement. Use these on your starter units to get better traits early - it makes the first 10 stages so much easier.
SUMMER and Sorry4Bugs - Both give Trait Rerolls and Stat Chips. The Sorry4Bugs code is compensation for a buggy update from months ago, but it still works. Free is free.
Where to Actually Find the Codes Menu
Here's the thing - Anime Vanguards hides the codes menu in the Profile section. Took me 20 minutes to find it the first time, and I've seen people in Discord asking about it constantly. The UI isn't exactly intuitive.
Step 1: Launch the game and wait for the lobby to load (give it 10-15 seconds, especially on mobile)
Step 2: Click the "Profile" button on the right side of your screen - it's the icon that looks like a person silhouette
Step 3: In the Profile menu, look for the "Codes" button on the left side panel
Step 4: Type or paste your code in the "Enter code" text box - these are case-sensitive, so copy exactly
Step 5: Press "REDEEM CODE" and check your inventory for rewards
Important: Many codes have level requirements that the game doesn't tell you about. If a code fails with "Invalid Code," you might just need to level up. Most valuable codes require level 30. The game won't explain this - it just says "Invalid Code" and leaves you confused.
Pro tip: I keep a notepad of codes I couldn't redeem due to level requirements. When I hit a new milestone, I go back and try them all. You'd be surprised how many "expired" codes actually just had level gates.
What Makes This Game Actually Good
Tower defense games live or die by unit variety and map design. I've played dozens of TD games on Roblox, and most of them feel like reskins of each other. Anime Vanguards is different - it actually has strategic depth.
The crossover aspect works better than expected. Seeing Goku fight alongside Naruto characters sounds like fan fiction, but the developers clearly know the source material. Abilities and animations match the anime, and each unit feels distinct. My Vegeta unit actually does the Final Flash animation. Little details like that show they care.
What keeps me playing is the gacha system combined with the trait system. Every summon feels meaningful because units have different rarities AND traits. Here's the key insight I wish someone told me earlier: a common unit with perfect traits can outperform a legendary with bad traits. This means the codes for Trait Rerolls are actually more valuable than summon currency in the long run.
The difficulty curve is well-designed too. Early stages teach mechanics without being boring. By stage 10, you need actual strategy - unit placement, upgrade timing, ability rotations. Stage 15+ requires optimized teams with synergies. I hit a wall at stage 18 for two weeks before I figured out the support unit meta.
If you're coming from Pixel Tower Defense, the mechanics will feel familiar but deeper. If you're coming from The Forge, the resource management is similar but with more action.
Strategies I Learned the Hard Way
After 200+ hours in this game, here's what I've learned. These aren't generic tips - these are mistakes I made and how I fixed them.
Traits are everything - seriously. I cannot stress this enough. A legendary unit with bad traits loses to a rare unit with good traits. The Damage+, Range+, and Cooldown- traits are top tier. I spent 150 Trait Rerolls getting Damage+ on my main DPS. Took forever, but my clear times dropped by 40%.
Don't sleep on support units. I ran full DPS teams for weeks because "more damage = better," right? Wrong. I kept failing stage 18 no matter what I tried. Added two support units with buff abilities and cleared it first try. Supports multiply your team's effectiveness - they're not just "healers."
Stat Chips before summons. The 10 Stat Chips from the FallenKingdom code are more valuable than you think. Here's why: upgrading unit stats is permanent. Summons are random. I used to dump all my resources into summons chasing rare units. Now I prioritize chips on my core team first.
Level requirements gate the best codes. Rush to level 30. Half the codes require it, and the rewards are significantly better. The grind from 20-30 took me about 8 hours of focused play, but it unlocks codes worth 200+ Rerolls total.
Save Rainbow Essence for mythics. The Oops code gives 10 Rainbow Essence. I wasted my first batch on a rare unit evolution because I didn't know better. Don't make my mistake - mythic units need it for their final evolution, and it's incredibly rare otherwise.
Learn the meta, but don't be a slave to it. The Discord tier lists are helpful, but I've seen "C-tier" units with perfect traits outperform "S-tier" units with bad traits. Use tier lists as a starting point, then experiment.
What I'm Running Right Now
Since people always ask in the comments, here's my current team setup:
- Main DPS: Vegeta (Damage+, Cooldown-) - 150 rerolls to get this combo
- Secondary DPS: Naruto (Range+, Damage+) - Got lucky on this one, only 23 rerolls
- Support 1: Sakura (Heal+, Cooldown-) - Buffs the whole team
- Support 2: Piccolo (Defense+, Range+) - Tanks and debuffs enemies
- Flex: Goku (Damage+, Damage+) - Double damage trait is rare but worth hunting
This setup got me through stage 25. Your mileage may vary depending on what units you pull, but the 2 DPS + 2 Support + 1 Flex structure works well.
Where I Find New Codes
I check these sources every single day:
- Anime Vanguards Discord server (official - codes drop here first, usually 1-2 hours before anywhere else)
- Developer Twitter/X (@Kitawari) - They announce codes with update posts
- Roblox game page description - Sometimes codes are hidden in update notes
- This page - I update within 1 hour of new code drops
When new codes drop, I test them on my main account first, verify the rewards, then update this post. Bookmark this page and check back daily - I'm usually faster than the big gaming sites because I actually play the game.
Other Games Worth Checking Out
If you're enjoying the tower defense gameplay, you might like these:
- Pixel Tower Defense Codes - Similar TD mechanics with a retro pixel art style. 11 active codes right now, and the summoning system feels familiar.
- The Forge Codes - More strategic resource management with similar depth. Different genre but scratches the same "optimize your build" itch.
- Build to Climb Codes - Different genre entirely, but similar progression systems and code frequency.
- Hunty Zombie Codes - Wave-based survival that rewards strategic thinking.
